Devotees braved the rains and bad roads and waited patiently for their turn in the queue to propitiate the deity.
There was a reason for the unprecedented rush at the temple. Tuesday already being an auspicious day for Lord Subrahmanya, it also coicided with Shashthi and Ashlesha constellation. Hence it was a triple occasion for the devotees.
